How long does gorilla trekking take?

The duration varies greatly. Often, guides and trackers can locate the animals within 1–2 hours. Sometimes it takes 4–5 hours, and sometimes only about 30 minutes, depending on where the gorilla group is currently located.

Can I extend my Uganda journey?

Yes, if you have more time, your Uganda journey can be extended with selected add-on experiences — for example, Mabamba Swamp, Jinja, Kidepo Valley, the Rwenzori Mountains, or a beach stay in Kenya or Zanzibar.

Are group tours available?

Yes, group tours are operated as the 14-day tour. They take place with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 guests, with no more than 6 guests per vehicle. Every guest is guaranteed a window seat, and the vehicle has a pop-up roof for photography.
